Once a year we lay out everything we have ever made, in order, and photograph it.
What it is for
It is the only way to see whether a shop is building a wardrobe or a catalogue. Laid out in order, a wardrobe looks like about forty pieces that agree with each other. A catalogue looks like a jumble sale.
What it shows this year
That the four fabrics were the right decision and the eleven colours were not. Next season there are seven.
