The stone came first. Everything else on this necklace was drawn after it was bought, which is the opposite of how jewellery is usually made and the reason a high-jewellery piece takes a year.
Eleven carats, Muzo, minor oil, with the certificate and the photographs taken before and after setting. The platinum around it exists to hold it and to disappear.

The emerald was bought at auction in 2024 with its mining certificate and its treatment report, and both travel with the necklace.
