Vanity sizing means a label tells you very little. A medium in one shop is a large in another and was a small in the same shop four years ago. Measurements tell you everything, and they are the only thing we publish.
Measure a garment, not yourself
Take something you already own and like the fit of. Lay it flat on a table, smooth it out, and measure straight across the chest from armpit to armpit. Write that number down. Compare it to the one on the product page.
This is more reliable than measuring your body, because it already accounts for how much room you like — which is a preference, not a dimension, and no size chart can guess it.
Ours are garment measurements
Every number in our size guide is of the garment lying flat, not of the person it is meant for. So a chest of 56cm means the garment measures 56cm across, not that it suits a 56cm chest.
They do not change between seasons. A medium bought in 2019 and a medium bought this month are cut from the same block.
Between two sizes
- Knitwear: take the smaller. It relaxes with wear and never comes back.
- Outerwear: take the larger. It has to go over something.
- Shirts: go by the shoulder, not the chest. A shoulder seam in the wrong place cannot be altered out.

Send it back — thirty days, unworn, and we pay the postage on the first exchange of any order. If the size guide sent you to the wrong number, that is ours to fix, not yours to pay for.
